Oceanlab Phase 2 Web cam

Follow the progress of Phase 2 at the Oceanlab site and the construction of Oceanlab II through the lens of our web cam. The view in the background is that of the Ythan estuary and Fovern Nature Reserve.

	25 May 2009 Camera move to inside Oceanlab 2. The view is of the Ythan estuary from the new Coffee Room
	21 May 2009 Oceanlab 2 almost completed
	18 March 2009 Web cam moved as work starts on the roads and landscaping
	27 January 2009 The main roof is now complete and still green.
	9 December Cedar cladding and external sandstone blockwork well on the way.
	29 October Roof sheeting completed
	1 October Walls erected to the first floor level
	25 August Steelwork errected Laying of the concrete floor due to start
	8 July Drilling complete Awaiting the arrival of the steelwork
	11 June Test drilling for GSHP started Levelling of floors for concrete
	2 June Brickwork in progress
	12 May Installation of the drainage system is well underway.
	2 May Official turf cutting ceremony takes place.
	28 April Preparation of the site starts with the removal of the topsoil.
	22 April 2008 Work started with the preparation of the site compound.
	17 April 2008 The line of the re-positioned Beech hedge which forms the northern boundry of the site. The camera will be repositioned slightly when construction of the new building starts.
